Membership Success Specialist


We’re looking for a versatile and customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Membership Success Specialist. 

As part of our Membership Success Team, you will be mainly responsible for assisting customers in the phases of their lifecycle that relate to renewals and membership management.
The role focuses on utilizing both service and sales skills to improve and exceed customer satisfaction and retention. This includes assisting customers on a wide variety of topics in pre/post sale phases as well as collaborating with other teams to develop membership flows.
The ideal candidate for this role should be a team player with a “no task too small” mindset, have strong sales skills, passionate about solving problems, and have the ability to clearly communicate and present information.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter sales professional with a passion for health and wellness who is looking to grow within a health technology startup.

Responsibilities

  • Foster Lumen’s customer-obsessed culture and provide world class service via email, chat and socials
  • Utilize a variety of communication strategies to drive end user engagement and maximize customer retention
  • Understand our customers' behavior and identify opportunities for customer experience improvement
  • Collaborate across internal teams to strategize and retain customers to ensure business goals are met

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years in a Customer Success or Sales role - Required
  • Active listener to understand the customer’s pain points and respond with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for technology and customer engagement
  • Proficient in Salesforce or CRM software
  • Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency - Required 
  • Ability to work from the office Monday-Thursday - Required
  • Knowledge and experience with nutrition / metabolism / health - Advantage (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)

 

Our New York office is located in Hudson Square, Manhattan. The position is full time from the office except Fridays.
