Account Executive (Wellness Tech)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Account Executive to expand our team in a role that combines sales, consulting, strategic thinking, and business analysis.

As Account Executive (Wellness Tech), you’ll own the entire sales cycle and bring a mix of small to large-sized wellness clinics and healthcare accounts on board.

Your role will be focused on prospecting, cultivating, and closing new clinics, supporting the team with patient implementation and clinic lifecycle and optimizing the sales process. You will be responsible for quarterbacking deals from start to finish through a mixture of inbound and outbound generated leads.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales cycle for Lumen’s B2B model with wellness clinics and healthcare professionals to close new business and grow our customer base
  • Receive and qualify inbound leads to pursue via salesforce marketing cloud
  • Conduct prospecting and outbound discovery sales call via Zoom
  • Identify success metrics with potential clients and deliver value propositions to communicate Lumen’s accessibility in their business model.
  • Utilize and update Salesforce CRM with necessary data related to opportunities and contacts
  • Lead Lumen testing experience with prospective clinics and showcase the value of the product
  • Build valuable relationships with clinic stakeholders to understand opportunity and promote a referral program
  • Develop a strong understanding of the overall market and competitors and know how to sell against them
  • Work collaboratively with team members via slack/in person to further develop and optimize our sales process to ensure the best clinic and patient experience.
  • Collaborate closely with our Account Management (Healthcare) team on clinic implementation, account transitions, and renewals
  • Provide ad hoc support on larger strategic deals within the Healthcare vertical as needed

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of sales experience in Wellness tech industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or similar
  • Live in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) with the ability to commute to our NYC office once per month for in-person work
  • Ability to prospect, identify opportunities and create your own business using a strategic selling process 
  • Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce or CRM software
  • Knowledge of nutrition/metabolism/health- advantage (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)
