Supply Chain Planner

We are looking for an outstanding Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain (SC) team and be part of a life-changing technology that improves the world’s metabolic health and quality of life.

This role involves building forecasting tools, planning production, and also leading supply chain projects in a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

  • Planning - Build and maintain a detailed optimal Supply & Demand production plan (turn key manufacturing, multiple suppliers,  supply chain, and engineering aspects), considering multiple constraints, in order to meet business demands in a B2C business model.  
  • Lead S&OP processes - Initiate cross-department meetings, follow-ups etc, overall responsibility for inventory management and control.
  • Project Management - Manage projects, timelines, and execution, to deliver successful cross-company implementations for ad-hoc projects
  • Executing - Actively pursue short-term solutions for operative constraints and build the long-term capacity & responsiveness mechanisms to support future plans.
  • Manage subcontractor - Monitor production plans and POs to meet forecast and inventory goals. 
  • Strive for Operational excellence - Initiate continuous improvements initiatives, standards, and practices for forecasting, production planning, inventory models, and techniques that are consistent with the company’s strategy 
  • Strive for Long term solution - Research, deploy, implement and maintain information systems ( ERP, shipping, etc..)
  • Work and lead in a cross-functional environment with multiple interfaces (local and global; Business, R&D, Service, Engineering & manufacturing).

 

What we're looking for

  • B.SC industrial engineering and management
  • 3-5 years of experience in planning / operational roles in Hitech companies
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel – a must
  • Data-driven, independent, and autodidact, who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with great attention to detail. 
  • Ability to influence internal and external interfaces with no authority
  • Self-driven with experience managing multiple supply chain complex projects
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with SAP ERP – Advantage
  • Flexibility to accommodate various time zones
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Knowledge and experience with nutrition/metabolism/health - advantage (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)
